The Delaware Restaurant Association’s New Financial Aid Program for Delaware Restaurant Workers

If you are a full-time (30 hours/week or more) industry worker who is out of work or had hours cut due to the recent restaurant shutdowns in response to COVID-19,
please begin your individual application here.
Please only complete one application per person. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with grants delivered beginning on April 6th.
Funding will be provided in accordance with the total amount of donations received; all funding will be given directly to industry workers.

NRAEF Restaurant Employee Relief Fund Applications Opens 4/2/2020

The application portal for The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation’s Restaurant Employee Relief Fund opens 4/2/2020. Industry icon Guy Fieri is helping the Foundation launch a nationwide Restaurant Relief America fundraising campaign to raise money for the national initiative. Close to $10 million has been raised so far. To qualify for a $500 grant, applicants must be able to demonstrate that they:

  • Worked on a part- or full-time basis in the restaurant industry for at least 90 days during the past year
  • Had a primary source of income in the restaurant industry for the last year
  • Experienced a decrease in wages or loss of job on or after March 10, 2020
  • Live in the U.S., an overseas U.S. military base, or any U.S. territory
  • Are over the age of legal majority in their U.S. state or territory

Qualified candidates can apply at rerf.us/apply-for-aid. Grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis.
